Typefaces
The display face is Instrument Serif by Rodrigo Fuenzalida and Jérémy Landes, set in italic for headlines. The body face is Public Sans, the variable typeface developed by the U.S. General Services Administration for the U.S. Web Design System. The monospace face is Spline Sans Mono by Eben Sorkin and Mirko Velimirović. All three are from Google Fonts; all three are variable; all three respect the practice's preference for confident, contemporary, slightly utilitarian type.
Palette
Deep ink-blue ground (#0A1628), bone-paper formulary insets (#F2EDE0), chemical-orange accent (#FF7A1F), saline mid (#7B96A8), ember warning (#D03A1B), salt-fog cool (#D5DCE2). The palette draws on the visual vocabulary of contemporary Dutch government dashboards — particularly Rijkswaterstaat Waterinfo — and the post-industrial palette of late-20th-century Wax Trax-era studio photography. It tested at WCAG AA contrast for body text and large text using the WebAIM Contrast Checker.
Production
The site is static HTML/CSS, hand-authored, with no build step. Pages were generated from a single Python templating script that emits HTML to disk; the script is included alongside the source for reproducibility. The site is deployed via Cloudflare Workers Static Assets, which serves directly from the edge.
Imagery
Decorative photographic imagery is sourced from Lorem Picsum with topical seeds (deterministic per page). The cover photograph evokes the Rondout Creek lighthouse at dawn; the interior photographs evoke the corresponding clinical space. We do not use stock photographs of patients.
Hiring history
This practice has hired five clinicians since opening in October 2019. Two of those hires did not stay. The first left in May 2021 because we asked them to do work that was outside the formulary as it then existed; we changed the formulary and the next hire's onboarding. The second left in March 2023 because the practice was a poor fit for a clinician who wanted a high-volume schedule; that fit problem was visible in the second-round interview and we hired anyway, which was a real error. We do not, as a policy, name the names of clinicians who left; we mention this so the absence is not interpreted as concealment.
Case-log archive
Twenty-seven case logs have been published since 2020. The three currently public are at /case-logs/. Older logs were preserved in the archive but are no longer linked from the main navigation; access is by request to the front desk. The decision to remove older logs from the main navigation was made in 2024 because reading them out of context was sometimes confusing for patients in similar but not identical situations; we kept the archive because reading them is sometimes the right thing for a clinician.

It does not include the analytics provider (we do not run any), the cookie banner (we do not set cookies), the AI-content disclaimer (no part of the patient-facing copy is AI-written), the affiliate-link disclaimer (no affiliate links), or the change log (it is on the errata page).
