Tessa Voorhies, DO

Tessa Voorhies came to Pharos in 2020 as the third clinician hired and is the named owner of CCH-005 and the co-owner of CCH-004 for the procedural and prenatal-coordination sections. She did her family medicine residency at St Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick — a small program with a heavy procedural volume and an obstetric service — which is where she did her first 200 deliveries and her first 80 LARC placements.

Her clinical interests are office-based procedural care, prenatal coordination through 28 weeks (we do not deliver babies — see CCH-004 § Contraindications), and the discipline of continuing to perform osteopathic manipulation as part of musculoskeletal care after residency. She owns the office-procedure list (Tuesday and Thursday afternoons), the prenatal-coordination workflow, and the practice's relationship with MidHudson Regional Obstetrics.

She is the named co-author of CCH-006 and carries the after-hours pager on a rotating basis with Vanderlyn and Thackeray.
